How to build a coalition
Building a coalition of the existing groups in your chapter’s hometown is an essential part of of building the power to begin the mobilization. This is not the first step in a chapter’s lifecycle. It is important to first organize a capable team of people to coordinate the chapter’s own activities, and set the direction and strategy of what the chapter needs to accomplish.
But it is an early step. One important section of the Local Potential Study (the first chapter activity) is a list of possible allies on the area.
Ashik did some comprehensive research on how to go about forming a coalition. This content is only available to chapters, so you will need an account on our local organizer handbook to view it.
